Dewey's Pizza was born from a single, simple belief: great pizza should bring people together. What started as a neighborhood dream became a Kirkwood institution.
When founder Dewey first opened the doors at 124 N Kirkwood Rd, the goal was straightforward — create a pizza that was more than just food. It was about crafting an experience, a gathering place, a reason to share a table with the people you love.
"We never set out to be the biggest pizza place in Missouri. We just wanted to be the one you'd drive across town for — and tell all your friends about."
Using locally sourced ingredients, hand-stretched dough made fresh every morning, and signature sauces developed over years of tasting and perfecting, Dewey's quickly earned a reputation that spread far beyond Kirkwood. Today, we remain rooted in the same community spirit that started it all — one slice at a time.
